Project Description

Las Tecas is located by the shore of Los Molinos Lake, 55 minutes away from Córdoba city. The architectural complex is formed by three apartment buildings, the Club House, and Lancheras.
The architecture of Las Tecas takes the shape of the mountain to be implemented in a way that its transformation can be an act of preservation more than a sudden intervention.
The towers flow through a circulation center, which becomes the link with the interior of the apartments, showing in its path a combination of different materials (stone, concrete, metal and glass).
Once inside the apartments, the premise was that the user should be connected to the lake and should “feel trapped by the water”
To this end, the service area was located in the rear façade, so that the user could capture the views of the water and the massive mountains from the social area.
Regarding the Club House and Lancheras, they share the same design basis and materials, so that the user can discover and establish a relationship with the surroundings.
